Epic Leaders
Molly Hucklebridge
No stranger to the Sierra, Molly has led outdoor education and adventure programs in the Sierra’s foothills, west slope, and east side since 2005. A nature enthusiast, she is determined to explore, photograph, and write about every square inch of the Sierra Nevada. In 2008 she completed the John Muir Trail, but she still considers Lundy Canyon her favorite place in the Sierra. Molly works year-around leading and coordinating environmental education programs for the American River Conservancy. She holds Wilderness First Responder, First Aid, CPR, and Open Water SCUBA certifications. Feel free to test her on her Spanish - traces still linger from her Central American, South American, and European travel jaunts.
Michael Dotson
Michael grew up amongst the corn and soybean fields of Indiana. An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Michael left his home state after college to work in the environmental and outdoor fields. After stints in Tennessee, Kansas, and Iowa, Michael landed at an outdoor science school in the mountains of Southern California. Since 2005, Michael has been working with kids in outdoor and environmental education. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, and most recently, kayaking. He currently holds a Wilderness First Responder, First Aid and CPR certifications and has also been a lifeguard in the past. He has been with the American River Conservancy since 2007. He is excited to take youth on a great adventure into his favorite mountain range, the Sierra.
